If you are wondering, why named this Orchid Garden? Well, I started 'chatting' online some 12 years back, and the handle I used was 'Orchid'. I find Orchid is a nice name, and it also tells overseas friends where you are from... Singapore's National Flower.
I am so busy with work, life, and my boys, so hardly have time to update the main blog or doing things which I like. But I'm telling myself, no matter how busy I am, I must squeeze out some time for my hubby and myself.
I have started to go back to gym since August. Somehow, 'force' to go back, since I have some balanced Personal Training session which I need to complete. Now I am into doing Combat (combination of a few martial arts) and Pump (weight lifting) classes. It is very enjoyable. But guess I'm too enthusiastic, I hurt my left knee while doing combat, and I am now walking with slight limp. Well, rested for almost 2 - 3 weeks with visits to the Sin Seh but still not fully recover. Maybe I'm really too heavy for my legs to carry and that has caused the strained on my knee joint. Or maybe Jon Jon has drawn out too much calcium from me?? haha.
Anyway, I'm way out to slim down. So besides gym, I'm also trying to restrict my carbo intake, TRYING to avoid fried food (ooh... fried chicken drumstick), trying to take more greens. Well, guess I just need a change of my lifestyle. Therefore, I will try to make this blog a Fitness & Health blog, as well as one that will update my progress.
As of now, I can only say I have only lost about 4 - 5 kgs after 2.5 months into some exercises at the gym. I hope I can continue to maintain this pattern in the next few months as I try to pump in more gym exercises while trying to 'recuperate' on the other hand.
So much, till I find time to update the blog again.
